Senior Blockchain Developer

About This Role

We're looking for a Senior Blockchain Developer to join our engineering team and help build the next generation of decentralized social media infrastructure. You'll work on smart contract development, token economics implementation, and blockchain integration across our platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts on Solana and EVM-compatible chains
• Build and maintain blockchain integration APIs and services
• Implement token staking, rewards, and governance mechanisms
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate Web3 wallet connections
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Research and implement new blockchain technologies and protocols
• Optimize gas efficiency and transaction throughput
• Ensure security best practices in all blockchain implementations

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of blockchain/Web3 development experience
• Strong proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or similar smart contract languages
• Experience with Solana, Ethereum, or other major blockchain networks
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and NFTs
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js
• Experience with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js, @solana/web3.js)
• Strong understanding of cryptography and security principles

Nice to Have

• Experience with The Sandbox or other metaverse platforms
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
• Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs and Layer 2 solutions
• Experience with smart contract auditing
• Previous startup experience
